A little about ourselvesOur story is that of many and that of few. We are hard-nosed ball players, dirtbags, often referred to as field rats. We are the guys who dare to push the envelope day in and day out for one more hit a week. We believe that batting practice is not only for the hitters, it's for the fielders who want to see if they can make this catch or that catch if they just layout. We are the pitchers who stay after practice to pound the zone for a few more pitches. We are the guys who wouldn't settle. We are they guys who claw their way into the lineup. We are the guys who make a pitch, swipe a bag, fully extend in the hole and do the job when the job needs to be done. We are Prospects!
California Prospects Baseball was founded in 2012 to provide our community with a positive and competitive place for ball players. This program was born from the idea that people should have a better opportunity to succeed in youth baseball. With so many programs around stacking teams to 25-30 players, rotating coaches from game to game, and lacking the communication skills needed with players and parents to facilitate development, we felt that programs could do more. At California Prospects Baseball, we strive to develop player skills through quality instruction from current high school and college coaches. All of our instructors are certified public school teachers with multiple years of successful coaching experience. We strive to provide you with quality leaders who put player development above all else. Our mission is to evaluate, teach, guide, and provide players with an opportunity for success both on and off the field. This is our passion, this is how baseball is supposed to be.
